I was sitting watching TV on a November night. Election night had just been completed two days earlier. Now, instead of those policital ads, all of the commercials were about how these stores were offering specials "for the next three days" to our veterans. For some reason this really bothered me. Not that the stores decided to honor veterans, but that they used Veteran's Day simply as a commercialized mass marketing ploy. I decided that we needed to do something that gave honor to these great men, women and their families ALL the time; not just three days a year. These men and women give of themselfs. They are willing to give their own life, if need be, in the defense of that which makes our country great. This should not be forgotten. That is when I decided that our company would begin to offer a rebate of our commission on the sale or purchase of any home for an active or iveteran military member.
